Well as most of you know my birthday is on December 25th yes Christmas Day. All growing up I always had my birthday either in the summer or a month or so before or after Christmas well Surpise not this year.
December 23, 2008 Me, Chance, Jenny and Troy were all headed to dinner at Stockmans for our work Christmas party (work consists of Jenny and I). Jenny need to make a quick stop at work. We all just decided to go inside and wait for her. When I walked in all I remember was seeing all these balloons and tables and Happy Birthday signs, then everyone started to come out from behind stuff and they all yelled SURPRISE!!! I can't even tell you how I felt. I was SO surprised I was shaking. I haven't really had a big birthday since I was a kid and most of my friends and family were there. It was so amazing. My mom and Peggy made soup, and Jenny had brought bread bowls. So we ate and then I opened presents. It was a little scary, if you know me I hate being the center of attention so it was a little nerve racking with all eyes on me. But It was well worth it. I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for making my 27th birthday so memorable, and all the wonderful gifts I recieved. Yikes is that how old I am I hate the thought of being 27 years old. Well I also wanted to tell my best friend Jenny THANKS SO MUCH!!! She is so good to me. I couldn't ask for a better friend. I odviously didn't have my camera, but Jenny brought hers so when I get the pics of the party I will post them.

1. Where did you meet? We meet in Mr. Bainbridge's history class, he was a senior and I was a junior
2. How long did you date before you got married? 2 years
3. How long have you been married? 8 years and 1 month and 2 days give or take!!!
4. What does he do to surprise you? If you all know us we aren't a couple that is much on surprise. I do love when he gives me a massage with out me asking him that's surprising isn't it?
5. What is your favorite feature of his? I love his dark skin and dark hair.
6. Does he have a nickname for you? James-e-Lou Lou
7. What is your favorite quality? I love his sense of humor. He makes it so hard for me to be mad at him because he always makes me laugh, when I want to be mad.
8. What is his favorite food? He is not much on having favorites, but he likes most things made of beef, chicken, pork, deer, elk, or seafood.
9. What is his favorite sport? I am sad to say UFC Fighting. He watches it EVERY night, if I'm not DVRing something anyway. And yes he tries out all the moves on me!!!!! I think he thinks I'm invincible because sometimes I have to remind him I'm still a girl!!! (I do kick his butt from time to time he forgets I'm forced to watch too so I pick up on the moves)
10. When and where did you first kiss? Well our first kiss was also our first date!!! Sorry mom! It was at the movie theater watching Entrapment. I was pretty embarrassed because I'm not one for PDA. He just turned his head and kissed me yikes!
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? My favorite thing we do together is put the kids to bed and then we just lay in our bed and talk.
12. Do you have children? We are blessed with 2 beautiful high maintenance girls.
13. Does he have any hidden talents? He can burp so dang loud, oh wait that isn't hidden you all already know that Hee Hee!!! He can make a mean French Toast breakfast, I try not to let him know that though or it will go to his head.

15. Who said I love you first? He did. He said I love you pick-up fulls and pick-up fulls yup that's my redneck husband.
16. What is his favorite music? He loves old time country music. You know the kind that gives you a headache if you listen to it too long. He also likes the older rock like AC/DC and Metallica
17. What else do you admire about him? I love his patience and logical thinking, I really don't have either so I think that those qualities he has are amazing.
18. What is his favorite color? He doesn't have favorites but he likes green and blue
19. Will he read this? He was trying to read it while I was writing it, but I got stage fright so I told him he could read it when I was done.
20. What side of the bed does he sleep on? Right now he sleeps on the left side 6 months ago he slept on the right. I think we are about ready to switch sides again so he will be back to the right. We have always done this since we got married, we always switch sides every now and then.

O' Christmas Tree!!!
On the day after Thanksgiving we went up the mountain and got our Christmas tree. I may be a little nerdy, but during hunting season or about any other time when we are camping or fourwheeling during the summer, I am on the look out for a good Christmas tree. Well a few months ago during Chance's muzzeloader hunt we went on this four wheeler trail and there were amazing Christmas trees everywhere!!! So I told Chance we were going there for our tree. We brought our fourwheelers up and took that trail and we got the first tree that caught my eye. Which is unusual because I ususally have to look at quiet a few before I find the perfect one which drives Chance nuts Hee Hee!!! My quick decision might have something to do with the wind blowing 90 and it only being 32 degrees. Especially being on fourwheelers the girls were good sports though, they were so tough. I did bring my camera but I left it in the truck, and by the time we got back to it, we were to cold to even think about pictures. So all you get is the finished product. Our beautiful Christmas Tree!!!
And of course I didn't even think about taking pictures while we were decorating.

Make Over Time
Easton was over playing at our house one day, when suddenly it got really quiet. I snuck upstiars and found Kendyl giving him a makeover!!! He is such a good sport to go along with his cousins girly ways.
He seems totally annoyed but he would rather sit still than have Kendyl's rath. I hear you Easton.
